Faith to Move Mountains

I am sitting here watching all the birds flock to my feeders. I am amazed at the details of each and every one. They are so graceful, and full of beauty. Each one the same, yet different at the same time. Their markings each differ just a tiny bit, making each one unique.

We are like this as well. Each one of us similar in many ways, but in others completely different. God cared about those tiny little birds when they were being formed, but how much more does he care about us? Notice how the birds always have food to eat and a nest to call home. If God cares about what they will eat and where they will sleep, think of how much more he cares for you.

He cares about the tiniest detail, but sometimes it can be hard to see this. Sometimes are faith can be a little weak. If we haven’t had the quiet time that is vital in our daily lives, our problems can seem like a huge mountain that cannot be moved.

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. Matthew 21:21

We all have things or mountains in our lives that are standing in front of us. Though they may be on different scales, they are all a big deal in our own lives. Especially during the Christmas holiday there seems to be a lot of financial pressures on families. He knows what it is we need before we even ask.

Stay encouraged today. God has a plan for you, and he cares. So have faith in him!
