My August 3 in 30 Goals:
- I restarted my diet. It is a diet that I did last year and lost 65 pounds before our cruise, but I have gained back more than I would like to admit. So, it is time to get back to it! I do really well as long as I don’t cheat, and putting this out there for all of y’all to read is going to make it very easy to NOT cheat!! So my 1st goal is to stay faithful and not cheat. I must admit that I had 1 cheat day when my hubs took us out to dinner. However since last Tuesday I have already lost 7 pounds. So it is going pretty well I think.
- To memorize scriptures. I have never been very good and memorizing full scriptures. I can give you summaries, but I want to know them word for word. This goal has gotten NO love whatsoever. Our routine is fixing to kick in so things will start getting a little easier around here!
- Getting my family on a set bedtime. Last month one of my goals was to start waking up before the kids to have my quiet time.I have done pretty well with that, but now I need to get our bedtime on a routine. I want to have “me” time at the end of the day to unwind and have time with my husband with out constant inturruption. I think it is important for us to have time together each night, and with the kids staying up as late as we do, it just is not happening often enough. Um yeah so this one has received no love either. Our schedule was a hot mess this week! We start school on Monday though, so we have no choice but to change some things!
So as you can see I only got 1 out of the 3 on track so far this month, but by next week that will all change. How are all of you doing on your goals this month?
